Tavern Mondo is an example of a real Istrian tavern, and is located just outside the city gates leading to the romantic Motovun. What will delight you first is the interior that exudes romance and tradition. The menu contains original Istrian dishes prepared in simple ways in order to better present the true taste of fresh, local and seasonal ingredients used. The main word is dishes with white truffles, which are not lacking in this area. In addition to truffles, we should also mention beef, carpaccio with black truffle crumbs, creamy polenta with truffles and a delicious noodle dish in truffle sauce. All components of individual dishes on a plate and pasta and bread are home-made. The wine list contains some of the best Istrian winemakers and labels and goes perfectly with the menu.
