The Imotski region countryside is dotted with archaeological remains from various ages of history, most of them going back to the Roman and early Christian times. The archaeological site Bublin is the location of an early Christian basilica, most likely built at the end of the 5th century.

This three nave building had two apses, a baptistery and two baptismal fronts. From various fragmented remains it is assumed that the church was richly decorated with Christian-themed stone sculptures belonging to the late antiquity era.

The site has not been devastated and remains in good condition and had been declared a monument of cultural heritage.
