Located on the island of Murter, Slanica beach is the most popular beach on the island, attracting visitors with both its landscape and entertainment options.

The coast on this side of the island is versatile, ranging from rock and stone that occasionally form natural platforms convenient for sunbathing to sand and gravel sections with easy access to shallow sea. The seabed along the entire Slanica bay is sandy, and as such perfect for children, the elderly, and anyone who enjoys playing ‘picigin’, the popular Dalmatian ball game and a favourite beach pastime and always played in the shallow. To keep the children entertained, the beach is equipped with various attractions, among which the large water slide is no doubt the most popular one. 

Cafes and restaurants are located at the back of the beach so while taking a break over coffee or cold drinks or dining on Mediterranean cuisine or fast food you’ll be doing so with the view of the entire bay and its beautiful sea that spreads out in various shades, ranging from light blue to azure.

Paid parking is available in the vicinity of the beach, but we should point out that during the summer season Slanica is a popular location, so it might prove a but trying to find free parking space right next to the beach.
