The Jurkas Family Farm is located in Harmica on the border with Slovenia, not far from Zapresic. Their story began in 2006 when they replaced a long family tradition of animal husbandry with milk production. Today, they have 140 cows, and animal health is more important to them than the amount of milk produced. Almost all cow food is produced by themselves on 140 hectares of land. From the products, they offer fresh cheese, sour cream, yogurt, fruit yogurt, cooked and mature semi-hard cheeses. All products can be tasted and bought on the farm.
