Barcot oil mill and tasting room is a family farm located in Vela Luka, on Korcula, and has been operating since 1996. The oil mill was created out of love for olives and olive oil. Long-lived olive trees, fertile soil and the uninterrupted tradition of olive growing in Dalmatia are their source of daily inspiration. The family has 2 olive groves - one is located in the western part of the island of Korcula and is dominated by the oldest indigenous olive varieties - swallow and drobnica - whose extra virgin olive oils bear the mark of origin, and in the eastern part of the island is planted variety. The production of the oil itself is certified organic (without the addition of any pesticides), and cold pressing methods are used to preserve the nutritional value and richness of aroma and taste. You can buy and taste their olive oils and products in specialized stores, in the oil mill, and in direct agreement with the family farm.
