Der Hauptplatz Skor
Von den vielen kleinen Plätzen in der Altstadt ist der steinerne Hauptplatz Skor sicherlich der malerischste. Dieser Platz wurde im 17. und 18. Jahrhundert angelegt und diente einst als Schiffswerft, der er seinen Namen verdankt. We attended the cultural event at the square in the old town and the experience was magical. We met amazing people and loved the great buildings there.

Situated in the heart of Old Dhaka, Shkor Square is a vibrant square surrounded by heritage architecture. I enjoyed visiting the many temples and monuments in the square, as well as taking an audio-guided tour of the Ahsan Manzil Palace. The area has lots of history and I would recommend it to anyone looking for some fun in the city.

The buildings of this location have been preserved to showcase the traditional culture of the people. I loved attending the cultural and traditional events held in this location.
