Kalazic Winery is located on Banovo Brdo in the municipality of Knezevi Vinogradi, in the east of Baranja. It is a place where the ancient Romans produced wine two thousand years ago, as evidenced by numerous archaeological finds. The Romans named this area Mons Aureus (Golden Hill). Kalazic Winery had its first harvest in 2007, and since then it has been constantly developing and creating wines recognized on the domestic and foreign markets. The vineyards of the Kalazic family cover 16.5 hectares. Production has been completely ecological in recent years. Wine tasting includes a tour of the winery with expert guidance and a tasting of top wines.
