Grgich Winery is located in Trstenik on the Peljesac Peninsula. The founder of the winery is Miljenko "Mike" Grgich, one of the world's most famous winemakers. Grgich was born in Metkovic, Croatia, but spent 50 years in California. His California wines have won the highest accolades. After the independence of Croatia, he returned and turned the former military resort into a small, modern family winery. The wine is made from the best grapes of the Posip and Plavac mali varieties from the Peljesac peninsula and the island of Korcula. He pays special attention to ecological production.
The tasting room is located by the sea, with a beautiful view. In it, visitors can taste and buy wine, and can also tour the winery.
