Na lokaciji stare crkve iz 14. stoljeća koja je za vrijeme rata s Turcima bila korištena u vojne svrhe, 1620. godine počela je gradnja isusovačke crkve i samostana. Crkva je dva puta bila zapaljena, s time da je 1674. godine izgorjela do temelja. Nakon obnove slovi kao najpoznatija i najljepša barokna crkva, u kojoj se osim liturgijskih slavlja održavaju i koncerti ozbiljne glazbe.

Interijer crkve jedan je od najljepših primjera baroka u Hrvatskoj, ali je teško stradao u potresima 2020. godine pa u crkvu trenutno nije moguće ući.

My favourite spot in the church was the coat of arms embedded in the wall. It serves as a honour to the buried in the church.

The baroque architectural style used to style the building enchanted me. my colleagues and I had a fun time experiencing and seeing this ancient architectural style.

Nice church that we visited in Zagreb and had an amazing time. It has a fantastic overview that showcases the great city and has awesome views that are to live for. I enjoyed the sight of the wonderful outlook design of the church and it was rem,cable to watch and stare.

I enjoyed the liturgical celebrations and concerts of classical music held in this church. It was a fun experience that will stick to me for a long time.

We enjoyed the panoramic view of it from a spot behind and that church looked amazing from the exterior and the interior was superb too. The tour was amazing and we got to see the beautiful marble altar and took spectacular pictures.
