Paška solana
Na Pagu je najrazvijenija industrija proizvodnje soli. Solana Pag tako je prva u Hrvatskoj dobila oznaku izvornosti budući da je more iz Paške uvale puno čistije od nekog prosjeka Mediterana i Jadrana. Duga je povijest proizvodnje soli na otoku Pagu i baš je zato ovaj otok prvi sinonim za ovaj važni začin. U svemu tome veliku ulogu igra sama priroda čiji uvjeti su gotovo pa idealni za ovu industriju. Budući da u moru Paške uvale nema veće količine teških metala, ponajprije zbog raznih školjkaša i organizama koji su se tamo nastanili, kvaliteta soli proizvedene na otoku Pagu poznata je u cijelom svijetu.

I enjoyed watching how the salt is processed and prepared for human consumption. I learnt soo much.

We toured the place and had the chance to hear the history of salt processing and production as well as a tour around the place and it was magical.

The vast fields of the salt harvesting was mind blowing, i got to learn something about salt mining and packaging, the salt comes from the ocean and so much more,
