Der Strand Canova befindet sich innerhalb des Campingplatzes Park Umag, etwa 9 km vom Zentrum von Umag entfernt. Es handelt sich um einen felsigen Strand mit gepflasterten Abschnitten, und der Zugang zum Wasser erfolgt über eine einfache Treppe, was den Zugang zum Meer für Menschen mit Behinderungen erheblich erleichtert. Sonnenanbeter werden diesen Strand lieben, denn es gibt keinen Schatten. Geschäfte, Bars und Restaurants befinden sich in der Nähe des Campingplatzes. Der Strand ist seit vielen Jahren mit der Blauen Flagge ausgezeichnet worden.

By the fact that Canova beach allows even dogs is what made me to love the beach. I went there with my spouse and my dog and we ended up enjoying the day. The beach also features picnic pavilion which is so fascinating.

If you enjoy a good tan then this is the place for you. You can be able to bask away on the sun and later enjoy a beautiful meal and a refreshment at the nearby bars and restaurants. The water here is so clear and clean hence the award of Blue flag. The stairs heading towards the beach make the place even more beautiful.

When you visit the center of Umag then I would advise you put into your bucket list to visit the Canova park beach. This will indeed be the highlight of your trip. Last fall I visited the beach and it was indeed a nice adventure. There are cafes and major restaurants that serves almost all the meals. There are a few malls nearby.
