Žrnovska Banja udaljena je 3 km, a Medvinjak svega 1 km od centra grada Korčule.Medvinjak i Žrnovska Banja su naselja koja pripadaju Žrnovu, a u njima su smješteni brojni apartmani i kuće za odmor.U Žrnovskoj Banji smještene su konobe koje nude tradicionalna riblja i mesna jela.Odmah kod ulaska u Žrnovo iz pravca Žrnovske Banje desno uzbrdo odvaja se put za Brdo (0,5 km) - dio sela koji se usidrio među visokim stijenama i odakle se polazi na pješačenje prema Kočju - zaštićenom krajoliku sa zanimljivim dolomitnim stijenama kredne formacije (2,5 km).Korčula je najšumovitiji veći hrvatski otok; pod šumom se nalazi 61% ukupne površine. Ostatak površine čine obrađene površine pod maslinama, vinogradima i drugim kulturama, a kamenjara ima manje od 5%.

We visited this place during the summer holidays for our honeymoon and everything was as stated in the guide. Our presidential suite was very spacious and the rates were affordable, i loved the glass walls and the fact that it had a sea view that was breathtaking was like an answered prayer for me. We had a great time here.

The beautiful protected landscape at this place was amazing. Olive trees in thousand were planted in rows. I visited the olive oil plant at this place and had a chance to see how the oil was produced. I bought some oil to take back home.

I enjoyed my visit, from the beautiful scenery to the local traditional food served in the taverns located in the area. It is a great place to visit especially for food enthusiasts. Great place to visit just to sum it up.
