Ston nudi jedinstveno okruženje kao grad s drugim najdužim kamenim zidom u Europi (5,5 km), s uskim mirnim ulicama, plemenitim drevnim kućama i s tragovima drevnih kultura. Povijest ovog srednjovjekovnog gradića seže čak u 14. stoljeće. Ston je bio glavna utvrda Republike Ragusa čiji su obrambeni zidovi smatrani značajnim podvigom srednjovjekovne arhitekture. Unutarnji zid grada mjeri 890 metara duljine, dok Veliki zid izvan grada ima opseg od 5 km. Zidine se protežu do Malog Stona ("Mali Ston"), manjeg grada na sjevernoj strani Pelješke prevlake i kraja Malog Stonskog zaljeva, značajnog po marikulturi.

The enchanting unique environment is what makes me tour this place for the third time in a row. I especially loved walking in narrow quiet streets where i meditated and rewinded on my life. An oasis of peace and tranquility.

The noble ancient houses that are well preserved date back to the ancient times of the people who lived here. The fortress that was considered significant medieval architecture wowed me with its architectural designs. It made my kids fall in love with architect and now they have registered for a course in line with it.

We went for shopping in the shops and boutiques around this place and were delighted by the warm welcome of the locals. There were a variety to choose from, and the clothes we bought were fancy and worth our penny . The beaches here are unforgettable too.

My family and I came to this place for our one-week summer vacation. we enjoyed cycling on the hilly scapes as well as hiking. We visited the museum where we learned much about the history of this place. We had a great time and even made new friends.

The city was fabulous with ancient culture and history that is rich. The architectural buildings that stood at the city were stunning with medieval touch and several sites that we attended. Lovely place to spend time and we enjoyed the tour around the streets of the city.

There were countless activities for my kids. They enjoyed visiting and playing in the children's play grounds, cycling and taking nature walks. It was a nice experience.
