Lopud je srednji otok trija Elafiti,Ime mu potječe od grčkog naziva otoka Delaphodia, iako su ga Rimljani koji su tamo nekoć imali naselje nazvali Lafota.Otok zaista ima samo jedno selo koje se također zove Lopud i nalazi se u uvali Lopud. Uvala Sunj - koja je pješčana - nalazi se na drugoj strani otoka. Ovaj mali otok bez automobila apsolutno je savršen za one koji žele pobjeći od svega, želeći nekoliko mirnih dana ili tjedan provesti na tihom odmoru na suncu i naprosto samo uživati. Također možete iskoristiti svoje vrijeme šetajući prekrasnim otočkim stazama kroz njegovu bujnu vegetaciju (posebno u šetnji do zaljeva Sunj gdje možete provesti savršeno prijepodne). Također je moguće unajmiti bicikle za plovidbu otočnim stazama ili kajake kako biste proveli neko vrijeme radeći nešto malo aktivnije na svome odmoru!

I was thrilled to swim in the beautiful sandy beaches on Lopud Island. The crystal clear waters are warm to swim in while enjoying the cool breeze. I highly recommend it.
