OPG Balen is a family farm with a long tradition from the island of Rab. This rich estate and oil mill was created out of a love for olives and olive oil that has been passed down for generations. Long-lived olive trees, fertile soil and a continuous tradition of olive growing on the island, are their source of daily inspiration. Their olive oil under the Olea Arba brand is an oil of distinct nutritional value and with all its properties contributes to maintaining good health. The production of the oil itself is certified organic (without the addition of any pesticides), and cold pressing methods are used to preserve the nutritional value and richness of aroma and taste. You can buy and taste their olive oils and products in specialized stores, through the webshop and in direct agreement with the family farm.

My man and I recently spent the day on Rab and had the chance to taste some of the best olive oils on the island. We visited Olea cult olive oil and ended up buying a large tin because they were so friendly and helpful. They also let us borrow some bottles to take home with us so that we could try their other varieties.

It was an awesome experience to learn the great history of the family farm that was created out of love for olive oils and olives. We learnt that the farm was a continuation of the tradition of the Island. It was good to find people who still stick to and value their traditions.

Since my tour to the farm, have been able to maintain my health through taking olive oil under the Arba Brand which offers nutritional value to the body. Will definitely come back for some more.

We visited this place on the island of Rab and I loved how atmosphere of this place was cool. The olive oil here is made in natural and organic methods which I found to be healthy.
