The Cernek family inherited the production culture from their ancestors, and has a long tradition of olive growing in the Sovinjak area near Buzet, and started the Torkop oil mill. At an altitude of 250 - 300 m there are 1000 trees that give extra virgin olive oil Cernek clear green-yellow color. The taste is dominated by freshness and the smell of grass, fruit and conifers. The taste is moderately bitter, elegantly spicy and aromatic. The production of the oil itself is certified organic (without the addition of any pesticides), and cold pressing methods are used to preserve the nutritional value and richness of aroma and taste. You can buy and taste their olive oils and products in the oil mill, and in direct agreement with the family farm.
