OPG Kocijancic with a successful tradition since 1998 has located its native olive groves in Kastelir, Istria. The primary activity of this family farm is olive growing, ie the production of top-quality, multi-award-winning extra virgin olive oil. Native olive groves cover 15 hectares of land and contain 55,000 trees up to 24 years old. Olive varieties that contain selected olive oil are Istrian bjelica, leccino, pendolino, maurino and buza. Olives are harvested by hand, grown and processed traditionally using modern technologies, their production is certified organic (without the addition of any pesticides), and the oil is cold pressed.
