Karlic Truffles
Karlic Truffles are products of the Karlic family from the Buzet area. The family has been hunting truffles since 1966. At that time, the Motovun forest was much larger, and the most abundant site was located at the present bottom of Lake Butoniga. Success in the search for truffles is brought to them by their dogs, who start training as early as 3 months of age. Training is serious but organized so that the puppy thinks of it as a game. In addition to the truffles, they offer various products such as Istrian sausage with truffles.

I had never seen so much truffles in life like i did here. The shop assistant was so friendly and enthusiastic to let us taste and even buy their different truffle products which were marvellous and affordable. I enjoyed the scrambled truffle egg meal.

We purposely made the trip to place to have a taste of the truffles and the experience was amazing. It was totally worth the visit as we had the amazing truffles and some of the products that were available there. We enjoyed the place and had unforgettable moments at the Karlic Truffle.

The reception at the place when we arrived was top notch and we loved the atmosphere at the place. Nice place to visit and we had a chance to buy some other stuff from the truffle shop.

We stopped at the truffle shop and i was amazed by the kindness of the family, the shop is great, the dogs are beautiful and their products are amazing. I was delighted to find out that they also offer white truffles and also the delicious Istrian Sausages offered here. It was an unforgettable experience, must come back soon.

We made reservations to the truffle tour and enjoyed the amazing story about truffles to production and processing. We had a chance to taste the truffle and its was tasty and sweet. I enjoyed myself at the place and would love to return back some other time.

I recently visited Karlic Truffles in Buzetand had a fantastic time. They offer a great variety of truffles and are passionate about their business. The space was beautiful, but what stood out to me was their attention to detail. They were very organized and everything they did was done with love. I am going back again!

I took my wife and kids to this place last year and they were so happy. My kids were really amazed by how they hunted for truffles using their dogs which are trained on how to hunt the truffles when they are still puppies. We bought some of the truffles and they were great.
