Furnkranz Cheese Factory is located in Brdovec near Zapresic. All three generations of the Furnkranz family work in the cheese factory and do all the work themselves: preparing food for the animals, cleaning the barn, feeding, milking and cheese production. They produce boiled cheese, boiled smoked cheese, boiled cheese with spices, fresh cheese and cream and Skripavac cheese. Only hte milk of their own cows is used in production. They have won several awards and medals in cheese evaluations. All products can be tasted and bought on the farm.
