OPG Dezulovic is a family farm with a mark of origin and a long tradition from the town of Janjina, on Peljesac. Their extra virgin olive oil is produced by cold-pressed olive processing in one of the oldest mills in Croatia. The olive harvest begins when there are approximately 60% - 70% black fruit, usually in early November. The production of the oil itself is certified organic (without the addition of any pesticides), and cold pressing methods are used to preserve the nutritional value and richness of aroma and taste. In addition to olive oil, the family also produces wines, liqueurs and brandies. You can buy and taste their olive oils in direct agreement with the family farm, in specialized stores and through the webshop.

We bought some olive oils and other additional products that they produce such as wines, liqueurs and brandies to take back home. The most exciting part was the oil tasting, we were given a variety to choose from and they were all tasty. I loved the sweetness and aromatic smell of the olive oils.

We were here during the harvesting season of the olives which had a black fruit. The farm owner took us through how harvesting is done and allowed us to harvest each of us a single black fruit. I will definitely be back again.

We sat under the shades of the olive trees as we enjoyed the cool atmosphere and great ambience of the farm. The farm boss was generous to us to feed us with the history of the farm including why it was created and what they grow here. Good kind hearted owner.
