The Blato 1902 Winery is located in Blato on the island of Korcula. Today it is a modern winery, which dates back to the agricultural cooperative from 1902. Blato 1902 owns large areas of vineyards on the island of Korcula. The climate on the island is extremely favorable, so grapes of exceptional quality are obtained here. Numerous autochthonous varieties are grown, such as Posip, Cetinka, Plavac mali, Marastina, but also other varieties such as Merlot and Malbec. The company's headquarters are in Blato, and in Zagreb and Rijeka for over 50 years Blato 1902 has its own bars and restaurants that are recognized as a place to enjoy excellent wine and food. In addition to wine, the company is engaged in the production and sale of extra virgin wine and the sale of special brandies.
