OPG Denis Baric is a family farm with a mark of origin and a long tradition from the island of Iz, in the Zadar archipelago between Ugljan and Dugi otok. The olive oil it produces is called Amphora. It is an extra virgin olive oil of high quality, obtained exclusively by the mechanical process of traditional cold pressing of olives grown on the island of Iž. The combination of tradition, the application of new knowledge in cultivation and processing and an extremely favorable microclimatic position are a guarantee of the quality of this specific and healthy delicacy. The production of the oil itself is certified organic (without the addition of any pesticides), and cold pressing methods are used to preserve the nutritional value and richness of aroma and taste. In addition to olive oil, OPG is engaged in the production of olive leaf tea, soap and natural cosmetics. You can buy and taste their olive oils in direct agreement with the family farm, in specialized stores and through the webshop.

Besides olive oil, they have other products such as the olive leaf tea and soap. I purchased some of the products. I saw how the cold pressing technique works and it was a thrilling experience.

Their olive oil was really tasty. Their Amphora was my favourite. This extra virgin oil was well milled. Its taste was really sweet.

The farm big enough and has substantial amount of land that caters for the olive oil trees that have been planted for ages. We had a tour around the arm and it was remarkable. We enjoyed getting to know the olive oil history of the place and understanding the whole processing procedure. Educative place and vital trip around the area.

The oil produced here is extra virgin olive oil, I got delighted to watch the staff at the farm carry out the mechanical process of traditional cold pressing of olives grown on the Island. It was an awesome experience hanging out with the family farm owners as we interacted on the products produced here and how they are produced. Awesome people to chill an afternoon with during summer.
