The town has a number of historical sites and is known to be a historic pirate town.I toured the fortress of Mirabela and the view of the entire town from the tourist lookout point is outstanding. The town is in my yearly a must visit list

This location has a picturesque ambiance, which I loved. The splash of green, luscious, vegetation, numerous flower species, the crystal clear waters, the animal species, and the calm ambiance add to the beauty of the location. I took numerous photos and will visit again soon.

I was awed by the different forms of life in this location. I got to see the wolves, bears, deers, and rare bird species. My son took a photo close to some of them and we both loved the experience. Will be visiting again soon with my fiancee.

I was awed by the fact that there are sixteen lakes in this location interconnected by a series of waterfalls. The sight of the rushing waters and waterfalls is phenomenal and I took various photo to treasure the great memories I made in this beautiful location.

Plitvice lakes is a perfect example of one cannot understand nature. The plants were so diverse with different species. The hiking trails were well planned. We could cross over several streams and play with its water. It was such a good and not tiresome experience

I cannot explain the natural beauty of this place it was so fascinating. The lodgins were a ideal for a weekend experience. Trekking within this National Park is something I will definitely live to remember. The view of water from one 'pond' to another was a perfect sight to see.

I enjoyed spending my weekend in this park. It was a really wonderful experience that I cannot even describe. Seeing undisturbed nature was so unbelievable. The trails were quite extensive. One could not miss any fascinating point.

The streams, waterfalls and lakes were so beautiful. The way the water flowed was so mesmerizing. The waters was clear the dense vegetation covered created a beautiful view of biodiversity. My stay here was epic.

This Lake is the Oldest in Croatia. It boasts of its turquoise blue waters. The view was so beautiful and spectacular. I enjoyed hiking because of its dense vegetation surrounding. It was a wonderful experience. We came along several streams.

This place was simply the best for hiking and trekking. The trails were clear and firm. I enjoyed hiking while inhaling fresh air. I later enjoyed a quiet evening watching the sunset.
