Bašćanska Vela plaža je zasigurno jedna od najljepših prirodnih plaža u Hrvatskoj s vrlo čistim morem. Plaža je u potpunosti prirodna, more je tirkizno plave boje, a veliki valovi su na sreću jedriličara i surfera vrlo česta pojava, početnici mogu iznajmiti opremu ili mogu uživati u pogledu iz obližnjeg kafića.. Sama plaža je dugačka 1800 metara, označena je Plavom zastavicom koja označava iznimno očuvan, siguran i ugodan okoliš te čistoću mora i plaže, ima dovoljno sadržaja da u njoj mogu uživati baš svi.

We enjoyed the beautiful views of the pebble and beach as we were sunbathing. we rented shade equipments and other amenities were available as we loved our stay at the beach throughout. We went swimming and later had lunch at the restaurant they served seafood and great menu selection that we loved.

This beach is quite famous among tourists. It is pebbly and also comprises fine gravel so it's definitely ideal for everyone. It has deckchairs and umbrellas that you can rent. There are toilets, shower rooms, changing rooms, bars and restaurants among other things. It is easily accessible by car and walking, parking is available here. It gets a little crowded sometimes but that does not prevent you from enjoying the view and atmosphere here.

Went surfing at the sea with the waves coming strong and the experience was thrilling. I loved the adventure at the beach and views from the cafe that we had some drinks on the evenings was superb.
