Der Johannisplatz ist einer der schönsten Plätze aus der Zeit der Renaissance und des Barock mit einer kleinen achteckigen Kirche aus dem späten 17. Die Kirche wurde in drei verschiedenen Stilen gebaut: Gotik, Renaissance und Barock, was dem Platz einen besonderen Charme und eine schöne Kulisse verleiht. Der Platz und die umliegenden Straßen stammen aus dem 15. bis 18. Jahrhundert und sind neben den Häusern aus dem 17. bis 20. Jahrhundert der architektonisch am besten erhaltene Teil von Jelsa und der Insel Hvar.

Fascinating old town that we toured and were amazed by the beautiful architectural buildings around the landmarks. We loved the traditional songs sang by a local band and it was phenomenal.

Great historic story of the square with awesome architectural structures from churches to houses that are attractive. I enjoyed the view of the town and streets.

My friends and I had a wonderful time visiting St John square. Watching the sunset in the evening was relaxing. We enjoyed shopping in the many boutiques and shops around the square .
