Historischer Park Nehaj
Der Park befindet sich rund um die gleichnamige Festung am Meer und erstreckt sich über 14 Hektar, die Platz für zahlreiche Einrichtungen für alle Altersgruppen bieten. Im Inneren des Parks befindet sich das berühmte Kalvarienberg-Denkmal, das 1740 errichtet wurde. Gläubige besuchen den Kalvarienberg das ganze Jahr über, und der Kreuzweg führt dorthin mit 14 Stationen, die durch 14 Rastplätze im Park symbolisiert werden. Im Herzen des Parks befindet sich die Kosturnica, ein Denkmal für den Antifaschismus und alle Opfer der Freiheit. Der Park bietet einen außergewöhnlichen Blick auf die Stadt Senj, vor allem auf die Altstadt - ein geschütztes Kulturdenkmal aus dem Mittelalter. 4 km Kieselsteinpfade durchziehen den Hügel, die sich für Spaziergänge, Wanderungen usw. eignen, und die beiden Kinderspielplätze im Park bieten den Kindern unbeschwerten Spaß. Im Park gibt es auch einen Tennissportplatz, der im Sommer als Sommerbühne für verschiedene Veranstaltungen, Konzerte, Feste, Theateraufführungen und ähnliches dienen kann.

The various historical features within this park, including the Calvary serves as great learning experience. I was mind blown with the diversity of the Croatian traditions and culture.

We visited the Historical Park with the kids and they had an amazing time at the playground at the park. The look on their faces of the smiles was an assurance that they had fun and it was totally worth the visit.

It is located by the sea. It is a historical cultural monument. It hosts the famous monument of calvary which was built in the 18th century. It has epic recreational facilities such as pebble paths for trekking.

We visited the parka and loved the monuments that sit at the park. The kids had enough space to enjoy themselves while playing and other activities and we had fun.

I visited this place during my summer holiday and i loved watching the cultural events. My kids were busy playing in the chilldren's playground.
