Die Kirche des heiligen Nikolaus befindet sich auf einem der Hügel von Trpanj, von dem aus man einen wunderschönen Blick auf das ganze Dorf, die Küste und die Insel Hvar hat. Die Kirche wurde von dem Seemann Klement Cvitanović im Jahr 1840 als Gelübde erbaut. Auf dem Zaun der Kirche steht geschrieben: "Von weißen Wellen bedeckt, wurde er vom Tod befreit". Im Inneren befindet sich ein Altar mit einem Bild des Heiligen Nikolaus und des Heiligen Liborius von Le Mans. Sie ist über eine Treppe mit dem höchsten Hügel verbunden, auf dem sich die Kirche St. Rocco befindet.

Beautiful architectural building of the church and the lovely sight of the interior is fabulous. We enjoyed our tour at the church and took several photos of the place.
