Die Kirche des heiligen Konstantins in Jezera
Die Kirche des heiligen Konstantins in Jezera wurde Ende des 18. Jahrhunderts gebaut. Der Heilige Konstantin ist ein Schutzpatron gegen Malaria, eine Krankheit, an der die Einwohner von Jezera oft starben. Die Legende besagt, dass die Steine für den Bau der Kirche von Malariakranken getragen wurden. Im dritten Stadium der Malaria hat der Patient hohes Fieber. So trugen die Patienten in dicker Kleidung während der Sommerhitze Steine den Berg hinauf. Schwitzend erreichten sie den Gipfel und erholten sich, denn der Erreger der Malaria stirbt bei einer Körpertemperatur von 39-40 °C. Die Kirche wurde während des Zweiten Weltkriegs schwer beschädigt, aber 1994 auf Initiative der Einheimischen wiederaufgebaut.

We loved the church, it was beautiful. The pathways and vegetation surrounding it are well arranged and colourful respectively. We enjoyed the walk and visit

I loved the exterior designing of the location, the few trees, brick-layerd fencing, and plain structuring. I learnt a new simple yet modernized styling style.

As a history lover, my heart was sparked to learn how locals suffering from malaria healed by reaching the top of the hill. The pathways are well arranged and the vegetation surrounding is colourful.The church offers a good spot and a backdrop for picture lovers like me.The view of the landscape is panoramic.We enjoyed the walk and the visit, will definitely come back.

The church of St Constantiues is fantastic. it's an easy climb to the church ,a nice breeze and beautiful landscape for picture lovers as me
