Der "Vater der Heimat", Ante Starcevic, Anwalt und Vertreter des kroatischen Volkes, wurde in Zitnik bei Gospic geboren. Durch die Aufwertung der kroatischen Geschichte und Kultur förderte er die Emanzipation des kroatischen Selbstbewusstseins.

The house was very clean and tidy, the staff were very welcoming and offered us water on our way in, i loved the hospitality

The man owner of the house has a wonderful history, his house very simple and colorful, he lived a simple life

It was a great visiting place, the inside relics and tools were well arranged and the grass outside was well trimmed. I also loved the waters, the place was well taken care of
