Sinj ist eine kroatische Stadt, die etwa 40 km nördlich von Split in Dalmatien liegt. Sinj und seine Umgebung - die Region Cetina - sind wegen ihrer schönen Landschaften und des kulturellen Erbes, für das die Stadt im In- und Ausland bekannt ist, ein interessantes Besuchergebiet. Sinj liegt im Tal Sinjsko polje, umgeben von grünen Hügeln und den Hängen des Svilaja- und Dinara-Gebirges, und verfügt über ein reiches kulturelles Erbe, zu dem auch das Sinjer Alka (mittelalterliches Turnier) und das Fest der Muttergottes von Sinj gehören, das auch Our Lady of Sinj genannt wird.Sinj ist mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln sowohl von Split als auch von Zagreb aus gut angebunden. Sie können hier leicht einen Tagesausflug machen.

Sinj is a very lovely town. I really had a great time here as I took walks admiring the ancient ruins and other historical sites. I found some of them intriguing and others left me awe-stricken. It was a learning trip for me.

Sinj town is such a phenomenal town. My boyfriend and I love taking buggy rides expeditions in the rugged hilly terrain. The adrenaline rush I get is just incredible. We later enjoy the scenic views of the superb landscape. I look forward to the next trip.
