Maha tavern is a traditional ranch-style island restaurant run by the Marelic family, located in the hills 8 km from the town of Korcula. Traditionally decorated ambience and a pleasant, homely atmosphere will immediately delight you. The menu consists of classic Dalmatian-regional recipes, and specialties include dishes from fresh, locally sourced fish and seafood. It is a place to eat roast, lamb or kid, lightly cooked under smoldering charcoal, ordered in advance. Almost everything they serve is homemade, including juicy prosciutto cooked at home. Their homemade brandies are great as an aperitif. In summer we recommend dining in the spacious fragrant garden surrounded by Mediterranean herbs and old figs.
